This Cookie Policy explains how Smartstack Platforms LLC (“Smartstack,” “AI Mentor Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies through AI Mentor Studio, including mentorstudio.ai, mymentorstudio.com, related Platform hostnames, Studio pages, lead pages, sales pages, and Studio custom domains.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and embedded third-party content that may set their own cookies or identifiers.

2. How AI Mentor Studio uses them

We use necessary technologies to operate and secure the Platform. With your permission, we may also use optional functional, analytics, and marketing technologies. Your choices are stored on the hostname you are visiting and are not automatically shared between mentorstudio.ai and mymentorstudio.com, or with Studio custom domains.

3. Strictly Necessary technologies

These technologies are required for security, login, consent storage, and completing functionality you request. They are always active and cannot be switched off through Cookie Settings.

4. Functional technologies

Functional technologies provide optional enhanced features, such as third-party video players.     Scope: Embedded Mentor experiences (/embed/*)

    Used to provide the Mentor experience you requested. The embed surface does not show the cookie banner or load marketing scripts.

5. Analytics technologies

Analytics technologies may be used to understand Platform usage and improve performance. No standalone analytics provider is currently confirmed as active. This category is reserved for future approved additions.

6. Marketing technologies

Marketing technologies include advertising measurement and conversion tracking. OpenAI Ads may load only on approved Smartstack marketing pages, only on Platform hostnames, and only when Marketing consent is granted and Global Privacy Control is not active. It does not load on embedded Mentors, authenticated dashboards, Creator Studio pages, or Studio custom domains.

    Prevents duplicate registration_completed marketing events in the same browser tab after a permitted conversion.

7. Third-party checkout services

When you intentionally open a purchase or order page, Actionera / GoHighLevel checkout technology may load so you can complete the purchase. That checkout is treated as necessary for the requested transaction and is not permission for unrelated marketing. Exact provider cookie names and durations vary by the third-party provider and should be confirmed through runtime review of the checkout pages.

8. YouTube and Vimeo

Some pages may include YouTube or Vimeo videos. Those players are optional Functional technologies. Until Functional consent is granted, the Platform shows a placeholder instead of loading the third-party player.

9. OpenAI Ads

OpenAI Ads (`oaiq`) is used for advertising measurement on approved Smartstack-owned marketing and conversion pages only. It is blocked before Marketing consent, under Global Privacy Control, on custom domains, inside embedded Mentors, and on Creator-controlled Studio experiences.

10. Browser storage for Mentor resume and drafts

The Platform may use browser storage to resume an anonymous embedded Mentor session, preserve requested intake drafts, or remember certain interface preferences. Those keys are stored on the current browser origin and are not shared across unrelated root domains.

11. Your consent choices

You may Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or manage categories through Cookie Settings. Reject Non-Essential keeps Strictly Necessary technologies and disables optional Functional, Analytics, and Marketing technologies.

12. Global Privacy Control

Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we recognize it. Marketing remains off and cannot be enabled while GPC is active. GPC is not treated as permission to load optional technologies.

13. Separate consent across domains

Consent is stored as a first-party preference on the current hostname. A visitor may therefore be asked separately on mentorstudio.ai, mymentorstudio.com, and each Studio custom domain. The Platform does not redirect you to another domain merely to collect or change consent.

14. Policy and consent-version updates

When this Cookie Policy or the consent categories change in a material way, we update the consent-policy version. If your stored version does not match the current version, the privacy banner may appear again so you can make a new choice.
